My slow cooker and I are VERY good friends.
We spend a lot of time preparing yummylicous meals for my family.
I also enjoy putting together ‘one pot’ type meals. They’re so easy. Just add a nice salad and you have a great dinner.
Just like my crock pot, Betty Crocker is a staple in my kitchen. Betty always seems to come up with exciting recipes to try.
Now there’s a cookbook that wraps my love of ‘one pot’ meals and Betty Crocker favorites all in one.
The Big Book of Slow Cooker, Casseroles & More is packed with family favorites.
Combining hearty slow cooker meals, casseroles, one-dish meals, and other comfort food recipes, this cookbook is great.
What’s it packed with? Let me tell you..
Helpful hints – You can NEVER have to many Helpful Hints.
- Secrets to Slow Cooker Success
- The Beauty of Batch Cooking
- The Frugal Family Table and more
Over 200 recipes –
- soups and stews
- simple slow cooker meals
- dazzling desserts and more
Beautiful pictures – I love this. Having pictures always helps you know if your meal turned out looking the way it’s supposed to.. or at least close enough.
I’ve really enjoyed picking out different recipes to try out. With over 200 to choose from, this cookbook will be in my kitchen for a LONG time.
My first recipe try turned out deliciously well.
The Mediterranean Chicken Marbella & Confetti Rice were delicious.
I would have never had thought that putting white wine, brown sugar and various herbs together would create an amazing marinade for chicken.
So, if you’re looking to change up your recipe collection for the upcoming year, I highly suggest checking out the Big Book of Slow Cooker, Casseroles & More cookbook from Betty Crocker.
