I’m Mikki. I am Certified Health Coach and the owner and writer of this here blog.
This is where I share a little of my crazy Florida life and a lot about my love for all things healthy. I love cooking, recipe creating, eating lots of veggies, and could possibly have a slight addiction to coffee and dark chocolate.
I believe that being healthy can mean different things to each person. What eating style or exercise program you choose may be different from someone else, but that’s OK. We are all created uniquely, so our healthy lifestyle should reflect that.
Finding your own happiness in your version of healthy is what is important and is what I like to write about here.

It’s So Much More Then What You Eat Or Do
I believe that our health goes beyond what kind of food we are putting in out mouths or what programs we are doing.
We can count all the calories, eat this and not that, sweat buckets and burn fat…
and yet, in the end, still be extremely unhappy.
For me, being Happy and Healthy involve four areas in my life –
Each of these works together to encompass what makes me truly happy and healthy.
You Have a Purpose
I believe that we are all created for a purpose. A beautiful and distinct purpose.
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. ~Psalm139:13-14
Not only that, but we are all also created differently. What works for one person in a certain area of their life (including diet and exercise) may not work for me… or for you.
So, part of our journey, our adventure through life, is to try and figure out what does works for us.
There will probably be ups and downs, failures and successes. But that’s OK. We’re in this together.
What matters is that in the end, we took active steps in seeking what makes us happy and healthy so that we could live out that purpose.
