Awhile back, I posted a review for Equal Exchange coffee.
It was delicious coffee and had a great purpose for their business.
Well, right now, Equal Exchange is running The Greatest Gift Ever Contest on their Facebook page. They are offering some great prizes to the top three winners, including a membership to their Coffee of the Month Club, Equal Exchange Gift Baskets to send to friends and family, the Equal Exchange Sweet & Spicy Basket, and the Equal Exchange Chocolate Bar Collection Pack. Entering the contest is easy, just fill out a short form and tell us what your greatest gift ever was!
Equal Exchange is also promoting their Congo Coffee Project. The coffee is a blend of full city roast African coffees and a portion of the sales from this coffee is donated to the Panzi Foundation which supports the medical programs of the Panzi Hospital in the D.R. Congo which provides life-saving treatments, counseling and aftercare programs to more than 2,000 survivors of sexual violence each year. You can find more information on this project HERE at their web site.
I was thrilled to be able to not only have a chance to try this new coffee ( who doesn’t love coffee), but to also share with you, my readers, the Congo Coffee project. With each bag sold, Equal Exchange will donate $1.00 per bag to the Panzi Foundation through their wholesale program, and $2.00 per bag sold through their retail webstore.
A few years back, I signed up to pray for bible translators in the Congo region through a different ministry, so when I saw this Coffee project, I knew it was something meant to share.
The coffee is smooth and has a nice blend of tastes, which come from the African whole beans.
Make sure you check out the Equal Exchange’s web site for some AMAZING gift ideas..
