Every Monday a group of wonderful ladies gather together at my house for fellowship and Bible study. It’s one of my favorite nights of the week. I love to sit and chat with these gals over a nice cup of coffee and some yummy snacks.
We are mix of different taste buds, so it’s always interesting to see everyone’s different reactions. Some are adventurous foodies and some not so much. But it’s always fun to be able to introduce them to something that is both tasty and healthy.
Keeping Healthy Cool
Perfect Bars are refrigerated protein bars that are made with creamy peanut butter, almond butter, and cashew butter. With 12 flavors varieties that are all gluten-free, soy-free, non-GMO, kosher and Oregon Tilth Certified Organic, you have lots of different options to enjoy.
Why Are They Refrigerated?
Perfect Bar doesn’t use chemicals to preserve their product so refrigeration is necessary. They also do use overly processed ingredients or emulsifiers.
The refrigeration helps keep the Perfect Bars at their optimal freshness, but they can be taken out on a run or on an errand run with you and still be perfectly fine.
What Did They Think?
As I said, I enjoy spending time with my friends and treating them to some healthy snacks. So, the other night I put out all the samples and waited to see what they thought.
They were a little snack shy at first. Not because of the product, but because I have made some, shall we say.. interesting.. snacks in the past, so they weren’t sure what these were going to taste like.
It didn’t take long before they were all smiling and gobbling them up. They really liked the Perfect Bars.
What Did I Think
Let me first say that I did try each flavor that I was sent. They were little bites but I did try them and they all tasted amazing. Each Perfect Bar was rich and creamy and had me wanting more with each bite. Yet, unfortunately for me, they did have dairy in them.
Being a dairy-free girl myself, it was hard to not these all up. They were definitely quite delicious.
