I am not a huge fan of Spring Cleaning.
I love Spring.. the warmer weather, the cool breezes, and the chance to open all the windows and let the house take a deep breath of fresh air… but the cleaning part.. not my favorite thing to do.
The dusting, the deep cleaning, the organizing does have to get done though. Warmer weather is on it’s way and I’m going to want to be outside more – not stuck inside cleaning – so now is the time to get it done.
I need to get organized though. I need to approach this as a fun thing to do. No joke.. I need to find cool, eye catching charts and new ideas to make it interesting. A fun playlist of good music to crank and some healthy cleaning tips and I’ll be ready to go! If I’ve got to do this.. I’m sure going to try and make it fun.
Here are my Healthy Spring Cleaning Tips & Tricks for this year.
To attack the grime and yuckies in my house, I’m going to need some good cleaners on hand.
This year I am bound and determined to accomplish my Spring Cleaning using nothing but healthy, natural, chemical-free products.
Awhile back I had the chance to review the book The Organically Clean Home. Ever since than, it has become my go to book for any type of cleaning issue I have pop up. I have bottles labeled for different task and I love it. By just using some basic natural, chemical free items, I can have a clean AND healthy home.
Charts and Helpful Hints
I love a good checklist. It helps keep me organized and I feel accomplished when I can see all the boxes checked. A job well done kind of feeling.
So, the other day I headed to Pinterest and found some really fun, bright looking checklists that I could use. I may have to modify and or ignore some of the chores if they don’t fit my type of house, but that’s OK. I can still use it to stay on track.
Here’s my Pinterest board of all the great charts, tips, and tricks I have found so far.
