When we first moved to Florida, I was THRILLED to see that there was a SUPER Wal*Mart in our local town to shop at. I had not had this opportunity living up north…
I was on a Wal*Mart honeymoon for almost 2 to 3 years while living here. Just about anytime I needed to get something from the store… I went to Super Wal*Mart.
You price matched
You’re prices were pretty much always cheaper than other stores
You had everything in ONE stop
and you even took coupons
But dear, sweet Wal*Mart, you’ve changed on me.
You recently remodeled – which at first was WONDERFUL…
though things were not where they used to be, I looked at it as an adventure
the aisles were CLEAR.. no more having to dodge other shoppers AND the big display of a Harley bike on top of coke cans during bike week..
Yet, in the weeks soon after the remodel it started to do down hill..
The aisles got clogged up again..
I realized A LOT of the things I used to purchase, we no longer available or now cost me MORE money
and the produce department – thought looking all fancy – stopped carrying A LOT of organic produce.
This past Tuesday I think was my last Wal*Mart trip for awhile..
I can no longer stand the empty shelves
the lack of product available
the lack of HEALTHY choices – organic and such
and the general frustration I feel when I buy one product there one week and the next it’s not longer there
I’ve written you letters and sent you emails, but all I get is a FORM LETTER, thanking me for my input.
Do you really even read these letters??
I wrote you an email once about the lack of Organic produce choices I had and that I was told by the produce workers that they don’t even get to order produce anymore – it’s just shipped to them
and I got a Form Letter stating you appreciate my input..
Well, thanks.. but that doesn’t help me any..
Publix and Winn Dixie have small sections of Organic produce…
It’s not a huge section, but they do pack a lot in one little space and at least they give an option..
I’ll stop rambling.. but I just wanted to express my frustration..
I know Wal*Mart may never see this, but I just needed to vent it out..
How about you? Have you noticed a change at your local Wal*Mart?
Are you a frustrated shopper?
