That’s what my girls used to say when they were little. But then I made them Tuna Burgers one night for dinner and they were hooked.
This is a CHEAP and oh so easy dinner to make. Add some home made mac ‘n cheese and your all set.
1 (7oz) can tuna, drained and flaked
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 Tbsp. minced onion
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. chili sauce (optional)
2 tsp. lemon juice
4 hamburger buns, toasted
* I also add some Old Bay seasoning to add some flavor to it – leaving out the chili sauce.
Combine the first 4 ingredients. Blend next 3 ingredients. Stir into tuna mixture. Forma 4 patties. Fry lightly in oiled skillet over medium heat about 5 minutes or until browned. Serve on hamburger buns with your favorite toppings
* I usually double or triple this recipe because we love these so much.
