One of my favorite things to make for my DH are my BBQ ribs.
It’s a little bit of a process getting them ready, but boy oh boy are they yummy.
I first start out with brining the pork chops. I first tried this about two years ago and was scared to death that it was going to ruin the ribs. But the opposite happened. It made them taste even better. It makes them sooo moist.
Then I add a dry rub.
3 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon dry mustard
3 tablespoons sea salt
I let the ribs sit in the fridge for a couple hours with the rub on.
Lather it all over the ribs, cover them with foil, poke some breathing holes, and slow cook in the oven at 325’ until tender and pulling away from bone.
At this point, your house starts smelling WONDERUFL!!
And it’s also at this point where I TOTALLY stopped taking pictures because I was in a BBQ smell trance.
I removed them from the oven, threw them on the grill for a couple minutes and then we dug in. They were FINGER LICKING YUMMY!!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a beautiful day!!
