First, let me apologize for the lack of pictures of beautifully cooked recipes that I made for this cookbook review. I have been under the weather lately and haven’t had time to load any pictures.. for that I am sorry.
But I didn’t want to wait any longer to tell you about Vegan Eats World, so I thought I would just share my review and hopefully in the not to distant future share some great pictures with you later.
So on to the review…
Before you get confused.. I received a copy of the above looking cookbook, but if you go on Amazon the cover looks like this..
The more and more I venture into the plant based/vegan type cooking arena, the more I am impressed and thrilled to find amazing new foods to taste, cook with, and learn about.
Vegan Eats World is packed with not only 300 International Recipes, but it also has TONS of great information about being vegan, ingredients, cooking helps, and food prep. I have highlighted, marked up, and just about worn out just the beginning pages of this cookbook already.
Terry Hope Romero writes in such a comfortable, conversational type way, that you feel like she’s right there in the kitchen with you cooking alongside.
In the past, I think vegan cooking has gotten a bad wrap for being without flavor and excitement. Well, Terry debunks that almost immediately.
And have it all you can. Vegan Eats World is overflowing with delicious and flavor packed recipes. With Chapters like Pickles, Chutneys, & Saucier Sauces, Curries, Hearty Stews & Beans, and even Sweet Beginnings (My favorite because it’s the dessert chapter), you won’t be lacking in any recipes without a wow factor.
The only thing that was a little frustrating for me with this cookbook, and it’s no fault of the book itself, is that I am limited to my access to some of the ingredients. With great flavor comes different ingredients and living in a rural town kind of limits the chances of finding those. But with a little online research I’ve been able to make do.
So if you are in the market for a new healthy, vegan type cookbook, I would highly recommend checking out Vegan Eats World.
